Allison Johnson Scott was born and raised in East Tennessee, and has lived in Seymour, TN for the majority of her life. She graduated from Seymour High School and attended the University of Tennessee, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology. She then attended the University of Tennessee, College of Social Work at Knoxville, where she received her Masters of Science in Social Work, and then her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Lincoln Memorial.
In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband of 19 years and raising their two young sons, aged 13 and 15. An avid football fan, Allison and her husband can be found most any Saturday cheering on their beloved Tennessee Volunteers. She also enjoys spending time at the lake, reading, relaxing with yarn crafts such as crochet or knitting, and playing with her dog, Frank.
